Dementia Carer’s Research Project
This study looks at the experience of caring for a person diagnosed with dementia or probable dementia since the beginning of 2017, or currently seeking diagnosis.
This research will inform service providers and policy makers of the needs of carers and people with dementia in the two years following diagnosis. We are interested in getting carers views on providing support and current services. We will follow-up in 12 months to see what, if anything, has changed and what services and supports are available then.
If you agree to be a participant in this research, you will be asked to complete a survey that can be posted to you, or if you prefer completed online. It will ask about your current situation and services you and your loved one use. If you do decide to participate, you will be asked to sign a consent form. You will be given a copy of the signed consent form and a copy of this sheet to keep. All of the surveys will be returned to Dr Patricia Carney.
The survey takes about 45 minutes to complete.
If you have any questions or want to know more about the study, you can contact Dr Patricia Carney at firstname.lastname@example.org or Phone 091-49 5458.
