Fiona Keogh, PhD joined the Centre for Economic and Social Research in Dementia in the National University of Ireland, Galway as a Senior Research Fellow in Dementia Policy in 2018 to 2021. Prior to this Fiona was Director of Research and Evidence with Genio, and Irish NGO working to support policy implementation in the areas of dementia, disability and mental health. Fiona’s primary degree is in Psychology (Trinity College Dublin) and she has minor qualifications in statistics and health economics. She has over 20 years’ experience in conducting health services research, evaluation and policy analysis in Ireland, in dementia, mental health, disability and other areas. Her special interest is policy development and the implementation of policy in complex systems. Fiona has written national policy in Ireland and has published numerous papers and reports.

Since June 2021 – Fiona was appointed Adjunct Lecturer with the CESRD.
