Sharon’s research interests are focused in the application of quantitative economic methods to explore and inform policy questions in the areas of health and education. Her research expertise includes the methodological techniques of discrete choice experiments, econometric analysis and spatial analysis. Prior to joining the CESRD, Sharon worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Health Economics and Policy Analysis Centre in NUI Galway, where her work focused on examining issues relating to youth mental health in Ireland. She completed a PhD in Economics at NUI Galway in 2017, and she also holds a Masters Degree in Economics, and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Geography from University College Cork (UCC).
